Taking Space is a group of artists that give women living and working in Cornwall opportunity to exhibit their artwork. Formed in St Ives in 1993, it comprises a diverse range of artists, and enables them to select their own work for exhibition.

Over one hundred artists have been involved with Taking Space since its start. A changing membership promotes a vibrant ethos and sustains the group’s broad appeal.
